Educational Association elections
|
On Dec. 12, members of the Association of Educational Institutions elected as board members Faten Abdel Halim as chair, Corinne Ben Shabat, Tom Edlund, Nibal Hasnin, Amit Kita'in, Maha Tali, and Anwar Dawood (representing the Municipal Society).

Appeal for playground equipment
|
The school learns about democracy in the autumn; with marking of historical dates and student council elections. This year the students also staged a demonstration for new playground equipment. We are responding with a holiday appeal.

Olive picking at the school
|
Thursday, October 31: Children of the primary school and the kindergarten, with families and guests, picked and cured olives together. Afterwards, they enjoyed a common meal accompanied by live music.

With the opening of the academic year, new SFP graduate-level courses have opened at Tel Aviv University, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Haifa University and Ruppin College

Art Gallery exhibition
|
Through autumn, the Oasis Art Gallery has been showing an impressive exhibition, "Fragrance of the South", spotlighting the work of the Palestinian artist Khader Hassan Oshah.

Nadi Youth Center activities
|
Every Sunday, under supervision of Lihi, two older girls, Malak and Nai, arrange activities for the younger children - drawing, coloring and engaging together.

Solidarity visit to protest tent
|
Members of the community paid a solidarity visit in the protest against the spate of violence afflicting Arab society, and the lack of police action in stopping it.

Samah and Lihi in the USA
|
In late November and early December, Development Director Samah Salaime and Nadi Coordinator Lihi Levian Joffe spoke before audiences and met with supporters on the east and west coasts.

Embassy contacts
|
Development director Samah Salaime paid visits to two ambassadors, those of Finland and of Spain, in the recent period. She has invited the two ambassadors to visit the village at their earliest convenience.
